Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our services, pricing, and processes

How can we help you?

🔧 Repair Services

What types of equipment do you repair?

We specialize in enterprise equipment and professional-grade systems: servers (Dell PowerEdge, HP ProLiant, IBM), workstations (HP Z-series, Dell Precision), business laptops (ThinkPad, Latitude, EliteBook), network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, HP switches/routers), and desktop computers. We also handle consumer devices but focus primarily on business and professional equipment.

How long does a typical repair take?

Diagnostic: 24-48 hours
Standard repairs: 3-7 business days
Component-level repair: 5-10 business days
Data recovery: 1-4 weeks depending on complexity

Priority service available for business clients - same-day diagnostics and expedited repairs. Contact us for emergency service options.

Do you offer free diagnostics?

Yes! We provide free diagnostic service for all repairs. We'll identify the problem, explain what's wrong in plain language, and provide a detailed quote before any work begins. You're under no obligation to proceed with the repair.

What if my device is "unrepairable"?

We repair things others won't. With component-level repair capabilities and micro-soldering expertise, we can fix issues most shops call "unrepairable." If we truly can't fix it, we'll explain why and discuss data recovery options. There's never a charge if we can't repair your device.

Do you offer on-site repair for servers?

Yes, for business clients we offer on-site service for servers and critical infrastructure. This includes hardware replacements, RAID configuration, firmware updates, and troubleshooting - all at your location to minimize downtime. Contact our enterprise team for a quote.

♻️ Refurbished Equipment

What does "refurbished" mean?

Our refurbishment process includes: (1) Complete hardware testing and diagnostics, (2) Replacement of any failed components, (3) Professional cleaning inside and out, (4) Firmware updates and optimization, (5) Clean OS installation, (6) Final quality check and certification. Every device is tested to perform like new.

What's the difference between Grade A, B, and C?

The grade reflects cosmetic condition only - all grades perform identically:

  • Grade A: Like new appearance, minimal/no visible wear
  • Grade B: Light signs of use, minor scratches
  • Grade C: Moderate wear, visible scratches/scuffs, fully functional

Choose Grade C for backend systems where appearance doesn't matter and save money. Choose Grade A for customer-facing equipment.

Do refurbished items come with a warranty?

Yes! All refurbished equipment includes our 90-day warranty covering parts and labor. Extended warranty options available. If something goes wrong, we fix or replace it - no hassle.

Can I return a refurbished item?

We offer a 14-day return policy on all refurbished equipment. If you're not satisfied, return it for a full refund (original shipping costs excluded). Item must be in the condition received.

Do you offer bulk pricing for businesses?

Absolutely! We provide volume discounts for orders of 5+ units. Whether you're outfitting an office, deploying workstations, or building server infrastructure, we can help. Contact our sales team for a custom quote.

💾 Data Recovery

What types of data recovery do you handle?

We recover data from: hard drives (HDD) - mechanical failures, head crashes, firmware issues; solid-state drives (SSD) - controller failures, NAND chip issues; RAID arrays - multiple drive failures, configuration loss; NAS/SAN systems - enterprise storage recovery; USB drives and SD cards. Both logical (deletion, formatting, corruption) and physical (mechanical/electrical failure) recovery.

What's your data recovery success rate?

Our overall success rate is over 90% for logical recovery and 75-85% for physical failures. Success depends on the type and severity of failure. We'll provide an honest assessment after evaluation - if we don't think recovery is possible, we'll tell you upfront.

How much does data recovery cost?

Free evaluation - we assess the drive and provide a quote before any work begins
Logical recovery: $199-$499
Physical recovery (clean room): $599-$1,499
RAID array recovery: $799-$2,499

No data, no charge. You only pay if we successfully recover your data.

Is my data safe and confidential?

Yes. We take data security seriously: (1) All technicians sign NDAs, (2) Data is never shared or accessed beyond what's necessary for recovery, (3) Secure facility with restricted access, (4) Data is returned encrypted, (5) Secure data destruction available after recovery. Your privacy is paramount.

🛡️ Warranty & Support

What warranty do you provide on repairs?

All repairs include a 90-day warranty covering the repaired component and our labor. If the same issue returns within 90 days, we'll fix it again at no charge. This warranty doesn't cover new, unrelated issues or damage caused after repair.

Do you use genuine parts or third-party?

We use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts whenever possible, especially for critical components like logic boards and displays. For some repairs, we may use high-quality third-party parts that meet or exceed OEM specifications - we'll always inform you which type will be used and why.

What if I need support after a repair?

We provide free technical support for 90 days after any repair. Questions about the repair, device setup, or general technical help - just call or email us. For business clients with service agreements, we offer ongoing support and priority service.

Can I get an extended warranty?

Yes! We offer 1-year and 2-year extended warranty options on both repairs and refurbished equipment. This provides additional peace of mind and covers both parts and labor for the extended period.
